The blind search for knowledge has certainly turned over a leaf or two. And along the way amazing images are created, revised, evolved or discarded to the twists of time.
I love old books (I come from a young country …. old books are much harder to find in Aotearoa New Zealand).
And I love the collager’s quest to make new from old. This one is pretty simple from a technical perspective. But the depth and colors are stunning and the contrast with the old German text is impressive.
Deconstruction is of course necessary for the creation of something new… its just a constant question of balance and equilibrium.

The print is made with highest quality Epson pigment ink onto archival pearl photo paper. It is signed on the back (except A5).
It is recommended not to display inkjet prints in direct sunlight. And watch out for fingerprints 🙂
This artwork ships in a biodegradable sleeve with thick cardboard backing support. A2 ships rolled with ph neutral transparent paper.
